Harry is a dedicated music educator and performer with a diverse background in teaching, conducting, and children’s entertainment. Holding a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Education, Harry is equipped with the educational foundation to foster a love for music in students of all ages. With additional qualifications, including SNA Level 5 and Suzuki Teacher Training Level 1, Harry employs a comprehensive and nurturing approach to music education.
Working as a secondary school music teacher, Harry is passionate about education, having also contributed to the National Suzuki Camp for three years, enhancing young musicians’ skills and creativity in a supportive environment. As the conductor of the Music Matters Orchestra, Harry has successfully guided ensembles through various performances, emphasizing teamwork and musical expression.
In addition to teaching, Harry works as a children’s entertainer with Once Upon a Time Parties, bringing Disney joy and creativity to special events. With four years of experience as an events musician, Harry has played at numerous gatherings, enriching the atmosphere with live music.
An active member of the Maynooth University Musical Society, a past member of the Maynooth Chamber Choir and Maynooth Choral Society, Harry has honed his vocal and ensemble skills.
Harry’s teaching style is the Suzuki Method which focuses on developing great musical skills through the ‘mother tongue’ approach. The Suzuki method is internationally recognised as one of the most nurturing, supportive and encouraging styles for young students.
