Anna Jordan

My name is Anna Jordan, I am a songwriter/composer and music educator with over 20 years experience. I teach all ages from beginners and up. I specialise in teaching kids from age 6+, but love teaching all ages. I'm the bandleader and composer to my band SELK.

We released our second album 'Shed The Skin' last year, which was received very positively nationally and internationally.

I've written score for multiple films, and collaborated with the incredible composer Javier Navarrete (film composer for Pans Labyrinth) on two songs which were released internationally to critical acclaim.

I grew up playing classical music and other genres, then studied jazz at Newpark Music School, and received the LGSM Diploma (London Guildhall School of Music) in jazz piano.

My lessons focus on practical skills and theory, while at the same time encouraging creativity and performance skills.

My ultimate goal is to keep students engaged and inspire a genuine life long love for music and performance.
