Sylvia O'Brien

Sylvia O'Brien is a lecturer in the vocal faculty of The Royal Irish Academy of Music and teaches privately in her studio on the north side of Dublin. She holds a doctorate in Music from Trinity College Dublin and diplomas in both voice and piano. Alongside a very successful international performing career, Ms O'Brien has over 20 years experience in teaching. She is on the panel of examiners of the Royal Irish Academy local center exams and was consultant editor for the RIAM Singing Syllabus.
