Majella Boland

Through Music Literacy Ireland, Majella Boland brings her teaching, examining, and research experience to one platform to support music education (teachers and students) in Ireland. Majella offers CPD workshops for teachers, courses for aspiring 3rd-level students, and she also customises plans to individual's or music schools' needs. Music Literacy Ireland acts as a link of communication between sectors, while working towards standardisation.

Majella has taught individual and group piano, has lectured and examined theory, musicianship, and harmony at a number of 3rd-level institutions, is a member of the RIAM examining panel, former senior examiner, during which time she project managed syllabuses and piano albums. Majella has also taught Leaving Certificate music.
