I'm Anaëlle, a passionate violinist and experienced teacher. If you've always dreamed of playing the violin or the viola or if you're looking to refine your technique, you've come to the right place!
I’m working to make the violin accessible to everyone, whatever your age or background. I can teach you all from the basics or help you progressing to prepare an exam or a graduation (RIAM, ABRSM).
My teaching method adapts to the student: with or without sheet music, with or without theory. I often borrow well-known exercises from great methods, and invent some to suit the exact technical needs to be worked on. I love film music and regularly use it as a teaching repertoire. Working a tune that you appreciate is the most important to make real progress, that why I usually suggest my students to choose their own pieces.
As an experienced violin teacher for over 10 years, I've had the opportunity to teach in various music schools as well as offering private lessons. My academic background includes a Master's degree in Musicology, and I am a graduate of the Conservatoire de Tours in France. In addition to my teaching career, I am actively involved in performing, regularly playing in orchestras and string quartets. My dedication as a performer enhances my teaching practice, providing my students with a unique perspective and a deep understanding of music.
There is different options for the length of the lesson, from 30 min (usually for the youngest) to 1h30. The fees are €30/30 min, €35/45min, €40/1h, 60€/1h30.
There is a €5 additional fee if I come to your house.
I can teach at your home (contact me and let’s see if I can go to your location) or at mine situated in Dublin 7 (easy bus access and free parking if you’re driving).
Don’t hesitate to contact me (WhatsApp or email),
See you!
Ana
